Heather Chee — Personal Stylist Orange County

She didn't set out to become a stylist. She set out to survive.

Growing up, Heather Chee faced something no child should — a body that wouldn't cooperate, a wheelchair, a full-body cast, and months of recovery that stripped away the freedom most kids take for granted. But in that stillness, something unexpected happened. In her mind she saw a woman — confident, powerful, unstoppable — dressed in a sleek pleather dress and red heels. That vision became her anchor.

It also became her life's work.

From New York Runways to Orange County Living Rooms

After recovery Heather chased that vision all the way to New York City, where she spent a decade in the heart of the fashion industry — developing collections, collaborating with top designers, attending international fashion weeks, and learning what it truly means to dress with intention. She wasn't just styling clothes. She was studying how clothing transforms the way a woman carries herself through the world.

Then life shifted, as it does. Heather relocated to sunny Southern California with her husband, trading the pace of NYC for something slower — but no less purposeful. She brought her decade of experience with her and channeled it into something more personal: helping real women, in real life, feel powerful in what they wear every single day.

Stylized Threads was born.

The Woman Behind the Brand

Heather works with women in career and life transitions — women who have outgrown a version of themselves but haven't quite found the wardrobe to match who they are becoming. Through private styling sessions, closet edits, and curated personal shopping, she builds more than outfits. She builds alignment.

Her philosophy is simple but profound: your clothing should support the woman you are right now, not the woman you were five years ago.

For Heather, this isn't just a business philosophy — it's personal. She knows firsthand what it feels like to be disconnected from your own body, your own image, your own power. And she knows the moment that changes. She has lived it.

"I wanted to leverage my ten years of fashion experience to connect with people on a deeper level," she shares. "To help them find their unique style and feel genuinely confident — not just dressed."

A Branding Session Built Around Her Story

When Heather reached out for a branding photoshoot, it was clear from the very first conversation that this wasn't going to be a standard headshot session. Heather had a story worth telling — and she needed images that could carry the weight of it.

We met at a carefully curated location that matched her brand aesthetic — clean, elevated, warm, and intentional. From the moment we started shooting, what struck me most was how naturally Heather inhabits her own presence. She is someone who has done the work — the inner work — and it shows in every frame.

We captured her in her element: working with clients, moving through beautiful spaces, laughing genuinely, and owning every corner of the room she walked into. No stiffness. No performance. Just Heather — exactly as she is.

What These Photos Are For

Heather needed images that could speak across every platform — her website, her Instagram, her press features, her speaking opportunities. Images that show not just what she does, but who she is and why it matters.

Because when a potential client lands on her page, they aren't just looking for a stylist. They are looking for someone who understands them. Who has been through something. Who gets it.

These photos needed to say: I see you. I've been there. And I can help.

I believe we captured exactly that.
